At SAS counselling, we believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner selves and overcome personal challenges.
We provide safe, compassionate, and culturally grounded therapy for individuals from all walks of life, especially those from marginalized, Black, Indigenous, & People of Colour (BIPOC), immigrant, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Our work is grounded in anti-oppressive, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy.
As a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience, we specialize in individual, group, couple, and family therapy, helping clients navigate difficult life transitions. We also have extensive training in eclectic evidence-based modalities.
Our approach is holistic and collaborative. We work with clients to identify their goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that incorporates a variety of evidence-based techniques. This include narrative therapy, the Tree of Life methodology, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, TF-CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), dialectical behaviour therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
We offer virtual sessions at this time. In-person therapy can be provided based on individual need. Contact us today to schedule a session and begin your journey towards greater well-being.
